Silica Sewing Threads
The Foretex silica sewing thread has a high tensile strength which provides excellent sewing properties. The sewing thread has a high heat resistance. Its continuous working temperature reaches 1800°F (982°C), and its instant working temperature reaches 2552°F (1400°C).

- Sewing seams for fire blankets and curtains
- Stitching insulation covers, expansion joints
- Protective clothing stitching that requires high temperature stability
- Heat shields and panels where joint integrity is critical
- Industrial tarps and covers exposed to radiant heat
